For those of you who missed it – [Apple has released a beta package called Boot Camp](http://www.apple.com/macosx/bootcamp) that makes it easy to dual boot Windows XP and Mac OSX on an Intel Mac. I’ve had a couple of people ask me what I think. Personally, I don’t think it’s that big a deal unless you are a gamer that wants to run OSX. As a matter of fact, [this MacWorld roundtable](http://www.macworld.com/2006/04/firstlooks/bootcamprt/index.php?pf=1) is the best commentary I’ve seen on the issue. Why is it the best? Because they agree with me of course ![]()
Now if somebody wants to give me a Mac Book Pro to test it on to better report how well it works I’m all ears…
If you don’t know what I’m talking about, that’s ok. Sodoku is a puzzle craze that’s been going around. It’s like a crossword puzzle, but solving them uses logic rather than a knowledge of the English language. For a better explaination – [check out the **extensive** Wikipedia article](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SuDoku). If you’re still interested after reading that – come on back for more.
If you are a fan – [here's a great little program to generate and solve them on your Mac](http://sourceforge.net/projects/macdoku/). The sourceforge website can be confusing, and documentation is nil – so take the easy way out. [Download this](http://umn.dl.sourceforge.net/sourceforge/macdoku/macdoku-0.2.dmg) mount the image and drag the program inside to your Applications folder.
I forgot to post time and place for anyone who might be coming for first time.

1.I will be prepared with a demonstration of how to import photographs from iPhoto into iMovie to allow more creativity with slide presentations. I will be using photos of our new grandson who has finally received his full name–Evan Cuore Di Giuseppe Jordan.
2. Hopefully Brian will be there to do a little follow-up regarding routers and why we should have them as standard equipment.
3. An Earth Day update on electronic waste management in Muskoka and around the world.
4. If there is anyone who uses iWork regularly, Bill Rathbun and others would be interested in a mini tutorial.
Please don’t forget to bring a folding chair. See you there. New members welcome.
