Muskoka Mac User Group

For anyone who was intereseted in trying out Linux on Mac hardware, Meg has copies of Ubuntu Linux for Power PC (as well as for Windows PCs)
at the store. I have some copies as well here at work (Muskoka Auto Parts). They are free for the asking.
It requires a G3 or better Mac, and while you can easily run Mac OS and linux at the same time, you will have to erase your hard drive to do the initial installation – so you lose any existing information you have now in Mac OS. Drop me a note if you want more details or help installing.
